Automated production process for the manufacturing of a chair frame.

The Wafios BM60 coiling and bending machine realizes the frame in wire, yet incomplete with some folds because of the lack of the stacking part.

Due to the extreme closeness of the curves, fold on fold, this process is made on a special Wire Trading machine.

The Kuka robot, equipped with a self-centering pneumatic gripper, picks up the chair at the end of the bending process and place it on a special bending machine for stacking.

At the end of the cycle, it takes back the workpiece and brings it to an equipped bench for the centering and spot – welding of the chair.

Then, it takes it further and puts it in the unloading area, stacking the chairs one on top of the other.  The  cell enjoys the hyper – amortization of Industry 4.0.
